This morning the American Cinema Editors announced their nominees for the best achievements this year. Notable surprises were Florence Foster Jenkins and Sing Street being left off the nominations list in favor of Hail Caesar and The Jungle Book. Meanwhile on the other side, all five nominees for dramatic editing were as expected, although the editors of Silence, Jackie, and Hidden Figures did have some pull and would have been deserving nominees.
